Magic 3rd in Atlantic Division after tough matchup against Storm

(Moncton, New Brunswick: December 3rd, 2017) 

The Moncton Magic put up a hard fight Sunday afternoon that ended in a buzzer beater win for the Storm. The Storm came out on top 88-85. 

The Magic's performance was led by Terry Thomas, Anthony Anderson and Al Stewart. Thomas hit five 3's and totalled 26 points, with 8 rebounds and 3 assists. 

Anderson had 17 points, along with 8 rebounds and 4 assists, while Stewart had 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. 

The Island was led by Franklin Session, Andre Stringer and Chris Johnson. Session finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assits, while Stringer contributed 17 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists. Their efforts were supported by Johnson who had 14 points and 5 rebounds. 

The Magic are now ranked 3rd in the Atlantic Divison, while St. John and the Island hold the 1st and 2nd positions as the league enters the fourth week of the regular season. 

The Magic will match up again December 8th and 9th hosting St. John and the Island over the weekend.
