MAGIC Take Home Two Wins against Cape Breton

(Moncton, New Brunswick: December 20, 2017)

The Moncton Magic took home two back-to-back in a roadtrip to Cape Breton December 19th and 20th, placing them in first in the Atlantic Division of the National Basketball League of Canada.   

Wednesday's 11:00am matchup ended in a nail-biter 104-101 win for the Magic, while the Highlanders hosted over 3000 students from surrounding schools. 

Highlanders took the lead for the majority of the game as Magic held on until the final quarter, outscoring the Highlanders 32 to 23, pulling ahead in the final 3 minutes of the game. 

Anthony Anderson received player of the game for his 28 points, 9 rebounds and 1 assist. Terry Thomas and Al Stewart supported with 19 points and 14 points respectively.

Bruce Massey lead the Highlanders with a huge 35 points, 7 steals and 6 rebounds. Shane Osayande contributed 26 points and 12 rebounds.  

Magic will travel to PEI to play the Island Storm December 26th, ending their road trip. Magic return home December 29th for a rematch against the Saint John Riptide at 7:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
