Final Jan 12

(Windsor, Ontario: January 12, 2018)

The Moncton Magic played the first of their five game road trip Friday night against the Windsor Express.

Building off their last two wins the Magic continued to play at their best, shooting a high percentage for all four quarters and beating the home team 123-108.

This marks an incredible start for the Moncton team's tour as on top of their healthy rhythm they now have three straight wins going into four more Central Division contests.

The clear choice for player of the game and also the box score leader was Corey Allmond who was on fire from start to finish knocking down eight 3's and making his 31 points look easy…

Brent Jennings, in his fourth week with the team, shot 7/11 and grabbed 10 rebounds giving him an 18-point double-double. Terry Thomas played at his usual high level and finished with 20 points and eight rebounds, Anthony Anderson had 22.

The Magic were also happy to have their newest player Jason Calliste on the floor, he was able to make three from the arc totaling 12 points, two rebounds, an assist and a block, in just his second game with the team.

Chad Frazier, who actually played with the Magic in the pre-season, led the Express with 23 points, three rebounds and three assists.

The Magic play again Saturday the 13th against last year's champions the London Lightening; this will be their first matchup of the season. After these next four away games the Magic will return home January 24th to play the Charlottetown Island Storm.
